Salvaging your assigned numbers in business processes

Using Buzzsaw Professional?

Have you ever started a new Form (aka "Business Process") and then scrapped the idea after you already started filling in some of the fields?

Then you found out the hard way that the number assigned to that form, is now gone.  It may have been assigned # 1000.  But now that you deleted that instance of the form, the next time you press "Add" to start a new form........the number will be 1001.

Maybe this is a big deal, maybe not.  If you want to maintain a continuous stream of numbers for your forms (like a checkbook), then it's a big deal.

Here is what you can do.  As soon as you click "Add" to start a new business process, click "Save as Draft".  You can then "Edit" this draft at an time to complete this particular form........and the kicker is.......the number is always going to be there for you.  No more "lost" numbers!
